As a Recruitment house within the retail sector, our company policy is not too apply for Full time application work permits, due to our sector of Industry. This is not supported currently under the Work permit eligibility criteria.
However if you are currently a holder of stamp 4 visa status, or in the process of or will begin acquiring a student visa, we will need the following details from you:
- Two passport photographs, signed at the back
- A copy of your passport valid until the expiration date of the relevant working permit (one year after the permit has been issued)
- Your most recent immigration stamp
- Your signature on the application form which we will supply Part time applications. If you are a student and will be continuing your studies here in Ireland, all we require is a letter from the college you will be attending, confirming you are a full time student. Students are only permitted to work 20 hours per week during the college term and then full time hours during the holiday period.
In order to begin working you will need:
- Permission to reside as a student in Ireland (this is a stamp that is on your passport)
- A PPS Number. To get this number you will need to contact your local social welfare office and show them a copy of your
- Birth Certificate, Green Book and Passport.
- Tax Credits - to get your tax credits you will need your employer's registration number, your PPS Number and a 12A from. The 12A from is available from any tax office.
Applying for a work permit can be a lengthy process. Once a work permit has been issued, it is essential for you, the employee, to ensure that your residency stamp is up to date. To do this, you contact the Garda Immigration Bureau who will stamp your passport.
